Sr.Electrical Technician/Foreman

Extensive experience in the field of Electrical for about twelve years specifically in field of Oil/Gas, &NGL Plant (Onshore/Offshore). My Objective is to hold a leadership position in a reputable organization

Presently I am on “Visit Visa” in UAE. My pervious working experience involved with Oil field Maintenance support service Co in Doha-Qatar as Electrical Foreman and was assigned to work with Oil/ Gas, LNG & NGL industries both in onshore/offshore production facilities, since June-2002 to till date. Being involved in this field for more than 12 years plus, I had been involved in different working activities such as Installation, Precommissioning/Commissioning, Start-up/Shutdown, Maintenance and Break down on various related electrical equipments used in zone-0, 1 &2 such as A.C and D.C motors, testing & calibration of overload relays, high and low voltage equipment and distribution systems, power generation unit, transformers, substations, distribution network, earthing systems, UPS system, battery banks and chargers. Gas Turbines, Tank farms, and Fire/Gas Protection & Detection System, PLC System & familiar with HSE/PTW System procedures and policies.

My previous experience includes working for Qatar Petroleum (Ex: Qatar General Petroleum Corporation), Ras Gas LNG, Qapco, Qafco in its Onshore/Offshore production plant as Senior Electrical Technician. Since my involvement in this field, I still feel that there is a lot to learn in this vast ever-growing interesting field of electrical & automation system.

Qualification:

a) Educational : S.S.L.C passed in 1993

b) Technical Qualification : Diploma in Electronic with first class in 1995
Technical course in Electrical Technology (ITI) from M.O.
I.T.I, Bangalore with first class in 1998

c) Computer Skills : Windows Application, MS-Office,AutoCAD R-14 &
Internet Explorer.

Position held : Field Engineer
Period : June 2003 to till date.
Responsibility : Installation & Testing of DHG (Down hole gauge) during
The Completion assists to Drilling crew after completion

a. Calibration & repairing all portable gas detector
b. Calibration & repairing all fixed type gas detector
c. Making quotation related all safety equipments
d. Maintaining safety stock
e. Making dispatch materials notes
f. Servicing & repairing of Breathing apparatus set
g. Maintaining calibration record

2. Roxar

a. On Call of basis carrying out completion with Roxar Engineer as an Assistant for OXY Oil field PS-I Offshore location.

• Worked as an instrument technician all Qatar petroleum
