Geotechnical Engineer

To utilise my talent, experience and capabilities for the benefit of the organisation and my career growth.

Presently working as Senior Engineer at Strata Geosystems (I) Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai (since August 07). I am responsible for technical co-ordination and quality control at project sites. I also deal with clients and consultants on technical issues especially Geotechnical aspects.

Self-employed as Contractor undertaking Civil construction works, involved in planning, design and execution of turn-key projects. Some important projects are mentioned below.
• Construction of RCC structure for 3 storied residential building housing 56 flats at Chinchbhuvan, Wardha Raod, Nagpur, India.

• Construction of foundation system for Electronic Weighbridges (manufactured by Mettler Toledo India Pvt. Ltd.) at V.M.Salgaocar & Bro.Goa (Iron ore exporters)

• Construction of 6 residential bungalows on plot sizes ranging from 2000 – 5000 sqft.

• Routine maintenance, structural rehabilitation of old buildings, renovation works for various Architects and govt. departments namely Public Works Department, Maharashtra, Central Public Works Department (Govt. Of India ), Western Coalfields Ltd.

• * Having realized the need for adding to my qualifications I enrolled myself in the Nagpur University for a Post-Graduate specialization in Geotechnical Engineering. I was awarded the degree of M.Tech in 2007 at the end of a 3 year course.
