I am working in The World Largest Single Stream AMMONIA PLANT of M/s. Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Company Limited and Petrochemical Company.
Professional Experience
•EXPERINCE WITH:-
(1) SAHARA PETROCHEMICAL COMPANY (SAUDI ARABIA).
From 2008 to till date.
At present, I am working with SAHARA PETROCHEMICAL COMPANY in PDH Plant OLEFLEX PROCESS (UOP Technology) for to produce PROPANE to PROPYLENE.
? Sahara Petrochemical is a petrochemical complex engaged to produce Propylene (460 MTAP) and Polypropylene (450 MTPA).
? A PDH plant is a Propane De-hydrogenation plant and essentially consists of following main Units.
OLEFLEX PROCESS:
This is UOP moving bed catalyst process designed to selectively de-hydrogenate
Paraffin's feed to corresponding Mono-olefins to produce PROPANE to
PROPYLENE. Design conversion is 34%.
CCR :( Continuous Catalyst Regeneration):
UOP process for the continuous regeneration of the spent catalyst by burning coke in regeneration tower.
CRYOGENIC SEPARATION:
Cold Box with Expanders for GTL (Gas to Liquid separation)
Mainly separates Hydrogen, Propane & Propylene stream at extremely low temperature, - 128C.
FRACTANATION UNIT:
Distillation columns like Propane-Propylene splitter, De-Propanizer, De-Ethanizer.
FEEDPREPARATION:
Unit mainly consists of Feed guard bed, Feed drier, Mercury Treater.
VENT GAS SYSTEM:
The tower is designed to remove any HCl, H2S, and CO2 or contained in the
Regeneration, before the regeneration gas is vented to atmosphere.
COMPRESSOR:
Centrifugal Compressor with Axial& Radial stage with Extraction type turbine.
FURNACE:
Natural draft heater with side firing
(2) Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizer Company (Ammonia Plant).
Duration: From Nov. 1988 to 2008 as Field and Panel operator.
As a panel operator I am worked in Ammonia plant, I have experience of Air & N2 compressor, Cooling Tower & Refrigeration system (Ammonia as a refrigerant). I also experience of Air separation unit (cryogenic distillation), Ammonia synthesis reactor, and treatment of gas containing CO, H2, H2S, CO2, and CH4.
