Career Objective
To obtain a position as a geophysicist, where I can maximize my multilayer of seismic interpretation skills, attribute extraction, well positioning and a successful track record of de-risking hydrocarbon prospects
Professional Experience
BP Trinidad & Tobago (Nov 2001- July 2008)
Geophysicist/Geophysical Interpreter
ƒæ Planned development well in the Cashima Field offshore Trinidad to target high risk segment bearing over 300BCF of ¡§proven¡¨ gas reserves based on existing mapping. Well results indicated only residual gas. Modified fault interpretation to explain well results and well planned for this segment was deferred, saving $30 million.
ľ Planned targets for Cashima appraisal well which resulted in the discovery of approximately 500BCF of proven gas reserves. Good well positioning allowed well to be drilled in record time saving $4 million on rig costs.
ľ Mapped pay sands and faults of Cashima Field, which was critical to the determination of field reserves and sanction of over $500 million capital investment.
ľ Worked with multi-disciplinary team to develop 6 well Cashima program which will provide 750MM SCF/d deliverability to the business and a net income of over $600 million.
ľ Generated and used seismic net pay maps to evaluate proposed well plans and guide well placement in the Mahogany Field. A proposed well was identified as uneconomic and dropped from drilling program (saving $30 million).
ľ Presented a business case for a Density Inversion Pilot Study in the Mahogany Field. Density Inversion is capable of de-risking gas prospects with probable savings of over $600 million in drilling costs.
ľ Mapped and matured the Shallow Banyan prospect (200 BCF non proved resources) for reserves booking
