PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
From February 2005 to date:

Management Executive (Finance) Pak-Arab Refinery Limited. (PARCO).

I am working on deputation from PARCO’s to its subsidiary company, Pak-Arab Pipeline Company. Limited (PAPCO) a joint venture of PARCO, Shell Pakistan Limited, Chevron Pakistan Limited, and Pakistan State Oil Company Limited. It is a US $ 480 million mega cross-country Oil pipeline project. Reporting directly to Chief Financial Officer of the company. Responsibilities includes,

•Cash and Bank Treasury management including monitoring the collections from customers, temporary placing funds with leading Commercial Banks liaises with banks for all sorts of negotiations and communication. Supervise company loans portfolio.
•Insurance Independently handles company insurance. This includes negotiation with Local and International insurers through brokers of International repute. In 2005 and 2007 participated in conducting an insurance survey of company assets. This survey was conducted by CTC-Non marine (U.K).
•Annual Budget Participate in making annual budget of the company. Make projections relating to financial charges, exchange gain and loss on foreign currency loans, evaluating income on temporary placement of funds with banks.
•Taxation ands legal matters coordinate tax related issues with tax consultant KPMG and legal matters of the company with legal advisors.
•Audit Committee and Board Meetings actively participate in administrative arrangements of such meetings.


From August 2003 to November 2004
Worked as Project Accountant in Artistic Milliners (Denim Division).
Responsibility included,
•Project accounts independently managed monthly reports and financial results.
•Factory controls established internal control systems.
•Budgeting Cash forecasting, Planning and Development, Product Costing.


From October 2002 to July 2003
Worked as Finance Associate in Eli Lilly Pakistan (Private) Limited, A wholly owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly Netherlands B.V.

From April 98 to September 2002
Associated with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants Sidat Hyder Qamar & Co., now Ford Rhodes Sidat Hyder & Co. (A member of Ernst & Young International) as Audit Supervising Senior. Finalized / assisted various statutory audits, fund audits, internal audits, special assignments, and review of systems.
