civil and structural engineer

My career objective is to expose myself into oil and gas industry. I have strong interest in this field. Even though I do not have working experience, I am willing to spend my time to accumulate it and to develop further skills.

I have finished my internship in 2007, in oil and gas company, kencana HL, which core business is fabricates offshore structure. During my internship period, I have been assigned to compute section properties and stresses of steel, ensure the engineering calculation to comply with API. Besides that, I have to compute material take-off for substructure and determine center of gravity (COG) of structure. My accomplishment from this internship was utilized knowledge of static and mechanics of materials to accomplish my given task. I have learnt to understand shop drawing of offshore structure as well.

I have been fresh graduated from UKM in May 2008 with degree of civil and structural engineering. My proficiency computer skills are autoCAD, LUSAS, Esteem.Academically, I have studied Structural Design, Structural Analysis, AutoCAD, Geotechnics, Steel Structure Design etc. I have also presented my thesis report in subject of Structural Design with title: a study on behaviour of box-beam to box-column connection.
