Operation Engineer

A challenging position in Production providing the opportunity to make a strong contribution to organizational goals through continued development of professional skills.

Currently Working in OMV Pakistan as Sr.Production Engineer

•Supervises, monitors, controls and co-ordinates the operations facilities of the well head, central processing plant
•Ensure all field works and changes are carried out according to OMV rules and regulations, efficiently and safely.
•Co-ordinates routine/planned maintenance activities and issuing permits for maintenance jobs.
•Conduct regular safety meetings with the contractor personnel to promote awareness of safety rules and regulations and to ensure adherence.
•Take lead during the emergency as per OMV emergency procedure and CCR duty during emergency.
•Frequents contact with Planning Engineer, Inspection Engineer to discuss day to day plant and well head conditions.
•Carry out safety tour.
•Works according to establish operating procedure . Exercise latitude and uses own initiative during emergencies including plant shut down isolations etc.
•Prepare procedure for unplanned or non-routine jobs including risk assessment.
•Collect and compile daily reports.
•Co-ordinate with Mechanical Engineer on daily basis.

• worked as “Shift Engineer” at Carbon Black plant,which is only kind of its in Pakistan ,Where carbon is manufactured from refinery’s carbon extract oil .Major portions of plant are as following,
• Reactors
• Conveyors
• Cyclones
• Utilities

B.E ( Chemical) in FIRST Class from NED Unviversity of Engineering & Technology,Karachi
