HSE Officer

Experience in Safety and Quality systems in the construction, oil and gas and manufacturing industries. I seek a challenging position at any level where I can utilise and further enhance my ability.

Has 7 years experience in Safety and Health site supervision and in the promotion of safety programs and consistent implementation of safety policies. Construction site supervision in terms of Safety and Health in major projects such as semiconductor plants, marine - repair and maintenance of barge vessels used in dredging works as well as floating cranes, has sound knowledge in International Ship and Port Facility Security Code in relation to company’s businesses, pipelines (ductile iron and GRP), mechanical, electrical, structural and civil schemes both in the Philippines and overseas for EPC contractors. Proficient in MS Office applications and have developed a good communication, liaison and negotiating skills with both contractors and clients.

• Is currently employed as HSE OFFICER on the USD 140 million 1.2 km Service Area and Pot Building Project/Qatar Aluminium in Mesaieed, Qatar with client SNC Lavalin International.

• Recently been appointed as HSE SUPERVISOR on the 555 million Qatari Riyal EPC for 88 km. water pipeline to supply water from Ras Laffan “B” power and desalination plant to various townships around Doha city. The scope also includes EPC for a complete booster pump station, complete with all components and service buildings. Total length of pipeline is 88 km of 1600, 1400 and 1200 mm diameter of ductile iron pipe with client KAHRAMAA (Qatar General Electricity and Water Corp.)

BS in Management (Undergraduate)1993. Currently pursuing a diploma in Environmental, Health and Safety Management.

Nebosh General Certificate Level 3.
IOSH Managing Safely (Institute of Occupational Safety & Health).
Accredited Safety and Health Practitioner in Construction, by the Department of Labour and Employment (DOLE) Philippines.
