I have obtained significant technical and operational experience across all aspects of Logging and Perforating projects. As a field engineer I am responsible for the successful completion of logging services whilst on location, including job planning and execution, post-job analysis, supervision and training of staff and ordering and maintenance of equipment.
I have worked in Australia, East Timor, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, USA and Egypt. This includes both onshore and offshore establishments.
Duties and responsibilities
• Experience with a wide range of Open Hole services, including Wireline Formation Testing, Basic Open Hole Resistivity, Radioactive Porosity Tools, Borehole Image, and Sonic Dipole services.
• Cased Hole services include all types of Perforation, Production Logging and Interpretation, Pressure Control and Casing Corrosion and Monitor Logging.
• Borehole Seismic services include multiple tool Vertical Seismic Profiling and Check shots using the Advanced Seismic Receiver from Avalon and Geochain System Panel (GSP).
• Preparation of logging equipment for jobs and follow-up of equipment readiness.
• Co-ordination of job planning and execution and post-job analysis.
• Responsibility for the training and supervision of junior staff and personnel, ordering and maintenance of equipment and general decision-making while on location.
• Safe handling procedures for hazardous materials including radioactive materials, explosive materials and seismic air guns.
