Texum Technology was acquired by Synoptek December 2007, accepted a Practice Manager position to perform the following duties:
• Structure the professional services team
o Define the level and areas of expertise to assign projects accordingly
o Track billable hours, tasks and projects
o Coordinate training needs based on upcoming projects
o Communicate with team members on continuous basis to increase efficiency
o Follow up on deliverables and make sure we meet customer expectations

• Vendor relationships: Cisco, Citrix, VMware, Watchguard, Sonicwall, IBM, HP, Dell, IngramMicro, and TechData
o Build or enhance the relationships
o Coordinate for product demo, testing and evaluation
o Facilitate marketing funds and campaigns
o Attend events to give company more exposure and learn about new products
o Maintain certification level and partnership renewals

• Liaison between management, technical team, NOC. Project Managers, and Sales
o Provide technical resources for projects, and TekCare on-site tickets
o Follow up with Project managers to facilitate their project needs
o Assist sales team to draft proposal, evaluate opportunities and close sales
o Provide feedback to management to enhance procedures and internal processes
