Project Electrical Engineer

Packages Leader (as an Electrical Project Engineer)
• Providing ongoing technical support
• Understanding , analysing and solving execution problems
• Contribute to review Technical Documents
• Preparing Packages Supply Specifications
• Preparing Evaluation Methodologies
• Preparing Tender Documents
• Comment and approve all electrical deliverables.
• Prepare electrical input into all other disciplines of the project as applicable.
• Prepare electrical related input into the project planning & document control.
• Contribute to the verification of the contractor’s compliance with the project electrical scope of work, specifications & basis of design.
• Identify and raise any non conformity and report the same to line management.
• Reports to the Senior Electrical Engineer on all electrical related matters.
• Ensure that the project conforms to the appropriate safety standards
• Safe & efficient delivery of projects to both client and company
• Conduct – pier ( post implementation evaluation report/interview)

Evaluation of Contracts / Contractor and Vendor ( as a Packages leader)
• Evaluate bid summaries of potential contractors with regard to technical suitability, quality, cost and time.
• Investigate contractor background and to visit their facilities , hold discussion to/for relationship beneficial to both parties
• Prepare tender and monitor contracts

Engineering & Design ( as an Electrical Engineer)
• Review & approve design documentation /drawings through the various stages of the project
• Supervise and control all contractor activities
• Developments of design strategy, technical specification, scope of work, define/develop engineering interface requirements/specifications.
• Equipment order , technical review , bid clarification , contract award

Electrical ( as an Electrical Engineer )
• Write specifications for electrical equipment : prepare calculations for load , short circuit current and motor starting
• Prepare designs for low voltage switchgears, Load Management System, Power/light distribution boards and Control Panel.
• Requisition, Checkout and commissioning assistance.
• Documentation control

Scheduling
• Functional knowledge of Visio Technical Software
• Functional knowledge of Scheduling Software “MS project”
