Organizational Experience

1. Presently I am working with SABIC since Dec 2007 as production engineer in Al Jubail , Saudi Arabia . Here I am working with the new upcoming project of worlds largest capacity Ethylene and propylene plant through gas craking of ethane and propane . The project is in the errection stage and pre commissioning jobs started are underway

2. From Dec 2002 to Dec 2007 with Indian Petrochemical Corporation Ltd. a company owned by Reliance Industries Ltd. The company is a Fortune 500 company and is presently running the worlds largest refinery at one site .

• I was working here as a Manager-Shift Operations in the Gas Cracker plant producing 4 lack Ton /annum of Ethylene and 1 lack Ton /annum of Propylene.
• Its a Dcs-Yokogava controlled plant under the licensor Stone and Webster .The plant was commissioned in the year 1999.
• The process involves cracking of C2’s and C3’s feed in the furnaces and further distillation of components at -135 °C at a pressure of 20.6 Kg/cm2.
• The process involves Cracked gas compressor on 17 mw turbine supplied by MITSUBISHI , Ethylene refrigeration compressor on 5 mw turbine supplied by EBARA , propylene refrigeration compressor on 15 mw turbine supplied by EBARA , three units of expanders and compressors of 0.5 mw each supplied by MUFITRENCH ,Acetylene , MA & PD hydrogenation unit’s and number of distillation columns.
• Also having the experience in the shutdown jobs in the cracker plant and further re-commisioning of the whole Cracker Plant.
• Here I am having the responsibilities of shift incharge where I am responsible for smooth running of shift operations which includes meeting production targets within budgeted consumption norms , Maintaining the SOP’s while running the plant on DCS,Manpower handling , Making daily production reports , Maintaining the parameters of the process , Emergency handling etc.


2 . From 10th June 2000 to 19th November 2002 with Jubilant Organosys Ltd as Senior Chemical engineer.The company is engaged in the business of speciality chemicals and having a turnover of 1 billion Dollars .

Educational Qualifications
• B. E. (Chemical Technology) from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (managed by Govt. Of India ) , Sangrur , Punjab, with 75% aggregate marks in the Year 2000.
• 10+2 from Govt. Mohindra College (Patiala)with 60% marks in the year 1994.
• 10 th from Our Lady Of Fatima Convent High School (Patiala) with 75% marks in the year 1992.
