Got promoted as AREA PRICING CONTROLLER for the A.GULF&Red sea trade sector during 2005 working in Middle East Regional Trade office till date.

The job involved independent handling, controlling & fully responsible for all the day to day shipping activities of Arabian gulf & Red sea sector agents. corresponding, interacting with the agents on a daily basis on various shipping activities. Responsible for Quoting ocean freight & surcharges for all Middle east agents/ Shippers rate enquiries and collecting feedback of the export liftings made on ocean freight/ special rates offered..

Assisting the Pricing Manager in Tariff construction(ocean freight) by providing the required costing information, Contribution analysis, Container Imbalance statistics, Routing charts and Market rates to the Management for construction of freight rates to world-wide destinations. Maintaining proper filing/record of Special Rates quoted to specific Shippers/Agents and validating it from time to time with correspondence/Approval from the Pricing Manager.Involved in preparation of major Annual freight contracts for DUBAL, SABIC,EXXONMOBIL,MITSUBISHI, CRYSTAL,EQUATE, QAPCO TOTAL,SAUDI ARAMCO ETC...
Responsible for rate filing with US Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) for any tariff,special rates& surcharges to USA ex. Middle east regional Ports.
Presently working on a web based program named TRUST P&C developed exclusively for UASC linking the whole shipping activities of UASC Trade offices & agents world-wide. Manages& updates the data such as Basic freight, BAF,CAF and other surcharges in the system related to Middle east trade.

Worked on CONTRIBUTION ANALYSIS&SPECIAL RATE SYSTEM; an In- House Program built on foxpro for the purpose of maintaining ,updating &extension of special rate records.

Providing Weekly Europe / F.East Reports on the Export liftings from the Middle East to respective Trade Offices for the purpose of Logistical planning.
