Technical Manager
1. Research and development of the Company's proprietary oil and gas tank cleaning and de-sludging process.
2. Responsible for Tendering of contracts. Providing operational support to all departments as a consultant.
3. Responsible for Quality Assurance and HSE activities of the company.
4. Handling Business Development activities of the company; preparing company brochure, web-site and technical presentation for prospective clients. Advertising the company in important journals, trade-show and internet sites.
5. Prepared a report on Oil and Gas Companies in Canada in order to initiate trade enquiries with foreign companies in order to expand TTS-Technology Services scope of business activities and also bring quality products and services to the Egyptian Oil and Gas sector.
Aug 04 – July 05: Shell Gas Lanka Limited, Sri Lanka
Product Quality Manager:
1. Provided support and advice on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) product quality. Analysed product quality issues through out the supply chain and provided relevant, effective solutions. Ensured continuity of the product supply chain from supply, storage, and distribution to applications at customer sites.
2. Provided practical fit-for-purpose solutions to customer related product application issues and coordinated solutions implementation with operations team, sales team and customers.
3. Initiated the process of LPG blending at Shell Terminal Lanka Limited (STLL) which is the bulk storage facility for Shell Gas, Sri Lanka. Our team was awarded 15 days bonus for this unique experiment, which turned into a highly successful process and brought in substantial savings to the company within 3 blending operations.
4. Was actively involved in the bulk annual procurement contract for LPG, the annual shipping contract for transport of product from SIETCo, Singapore to Shell Gas Lanka Ltd., the annual product testing contract for quality testing of the product and in the construction contract for building a new pipeline at STLL for product segregation. This was an outcome of my suggestions backed with success in the pilot scale implementation, for a new product segregation process as part of instituting a product quality procedure at Shell Gas Lanka Ltd, the first of its kind in the entire Shell LPG group.

Studied the mechanism of heterogeneously catalysed alkene epoxidation (ethene and propene) with molecular oxygen using Electrochemical Promotion (EP)
* Obtained striking results with propene epoxidation, which were in complete contrast to that of ethene in regard to the role of promoters in these two epoxidation reactions.
* Constructed a new micro-reactor system that involved the use of varied machinery.
* Gained experience in the use of Gas Chromatograph, Mass Spectrometer and Mass flow controllers.
