Professional Experience
Drilling Supervisor Qatar Petroleum-2005-2008
1. Successfully Drilled and completed 3 hi-tech Duel laterals wells with RMLS casing window system with Transition joint liners + Drilling & Production whipstocks.
2.Well conversant with MWD, LWD (ecoscope, periscope, and geovision), Co-Pilots, test track & auto track system functionining related to Geo-staring requirements
3. Re-entry wells-Cement plug side track w/ window cut
4. Work over-changing completion, re-perforation, water shut off jobs, Change over from ESP to GLV, well head equipment changes.
5. Drilled High pressure Gas Wells (Khuff Wells) with formation pressures ranging from 12 ppg MWE (4800 psi at depths @ 9000 Ft).
6.Well stimulation by Nitrogen lifting & acidizing,
7.Plug and abandonment campaigns.
2. DRILLING –IN-CHARGE / ASST DRLG SUPDT ON-SHORE DRILLING RIG w/ ONGC PVT LTD- 2002-2005
Assisting D/Supdt in his day today activities + Act in Supdt role in his absence.
Looking after 3 drilling Rigs + 1 workover hoist+ Rig less activities.
During this period gained good knowledge/ experience in Casing design, Hydraulics,Drill stem design basics and Blow-out Control & Prevention. Associated with the drilling of more than 5 wells.During this tenure had the exposure to drill deep wells (4700m-5000m).Associated in drilling three maximum drift wells with the last two points being drag locations. Have practical experience of well activities / complications and successfully controlled them. Presently Supervising on Rigs with Top-Drive with a pipe handler system (VARCO). Always gave safety prime importance while any operation is being carried out.
3. TOUR / TOOL PUSHER -1996-2001.
Worked on Off-shore jack up rig as tour pusher and then tool pusher .Worked on Drilling,work over and wild-cat wells at Bombay Off shore.
4. DRILLER ON OFFSHORE DRILLING RIG O.N.G.C 1992-1996
Worked as Exe.Eng(SR Driller) on offshore rig “SAGAR KIRAN”. Handled well-control equipment like Piperam BOP, Annular BOP, etc of different make Cameron, Hydrill, NL Shaffer etc.
5. ASSISTANT TO DRILLER 1989-1992
Worked as an assistant to driller. Worked in pump room, rotary, monkey board- maintenance of hydro cyclones, shale shakers and assisted driller in drilling.
6. Join ONGC AS Trannie A/D at Bombay-Off shore. 1989-1992

Additional Information
1.Personally witness all key operations.
2. Supervise Contractors in the day-to-day execution of all approved drilling, testing, completion & other programmes.
3. Avoid non productive time, by ensuring ( in co-ordination with the Drilling Superintendent ) that all personnel, equipment and materials needed to carry out the planned operations, are available onboard the rig in due time
4. Co-ordinate the collection of and verify the correctness of all subsurface, operational & rig site data prior to transmitting it back to Companies base.
5. Compute and transmit the daily operations cost estimate to Companies base.
6. Maintain an accurate Inventory at the Well-site of all Company and Contractor equipment and consumable materials.
7. Co-ordinate and approve all personnel movements.
8. Liaise with the Drilling Contractors Supervisors onboard the rig, keeping them fully abreast of current and planned drilling/completion/testing activities. Notify them of any developments or program changes which may influence safety and operability of the rig.
9. Continually monitor the effectiveness of the ongoing operational process, and report on same to the Drilling Superintendent. Make recommendations for improvements to the programme.
10.Ensure that contractual obligations of all Contractors and Suppliers are fulfilled
