• have appropriate experience of managing in P&E / welding inspection or mechanical engineering in construction and site qa/qc activities for an oil & gas plant
• preferably have adequate experience in tank inspection
• have appropriate training in welding inspection and NDT
• have good command on various material and construction codes/ standard
• have exposure to maintain and improve quality management system and audit contractors as per the requirement of QMS and ISO 9001:2000
• appropriate computer skill such as use of MS office etc
• monitoring to ensure that all testing and measurement equipment used has been validly calibrated
• providing training (quality induction) and consultation for all site employees
• carrying out internal quality audit on site staff and contractors co-ordinate and assist external audits
• ensuring that all QA certificates are placed in the archives as called for in work instructions and that experience with local suppliers is incorporated into the list of suppliers
• Saudi ARAMCO approved inspector SAP:7000

Evaluate NDT examination results to determine defects and imperfection make recommendation for repairs. Perform test and inspection on equipment that has been repaired or modified to ensure compliance to engineering standards and cods. Inspect all aspects of welding on new or existing equipment. Inspect for quality ongoing activity and road crossing. Perform quality assurance assessment of maintenance subcontractor activities. Assess and evaluate test reports for penetrate test, magnetic particle test, ultrasonic test, radiograph test. Perform applicable duties required of an inspector engineering within the assigned inspection discipline and certification limitations. Train to develop technical ability and understanding of applicable cods, standards, inspection methods in various discipline and NDT methods. Proper use of new or existing inspection equipment tools, techniques, methods and standards and acts as mentor. Perform inspection of an advanced, more complex nature in addition to providing day-to-day work direction. Design drawing and engineering specification assuring that all applicable standards have been applied, Qa/Qc programs for compliance review inspection reports, worksheets, and non-compliance reports and ensure all hard copy and electronic database are initiated and maintained
