Procurement Operations

Ÿ Advance planning of purchase functions, involving cost estimation, contract negotiations & finalization for purchase of all technology parts, raw material, capital goods.
Ÿ Generate purchase orders as and when inventory levels reach reorder levels.
Ÿ Coordinate incoming and outgoing materials and its complete record keeping.
Ÿ Synchronizing with the Production, Design, Development, and Administration Departments for the smooth running of the business.
Ÿ Engaged in cost calculation and cost reduction for machine components.

Quality Control

Ÿ Ensuring compliance with quality control standards for improvement in the quality of various items and contracts.
Ÿ Executing cost saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in procurement expenditures and work within the budget.
Ÿ Achieving improvements & eliminating non-value added operations.
Ÿ Maintaining quality standards for incoming/ outgoing materials, ensuring stringent adherence to quality standards, norms & practices.

Design/Development

Ÿ Coordinating with the entire development of new product including finalizing specifications & prototype Approval.

Vendor/Inventory Management

Ÿ Identifying and developing a keen and alternate vendor source for, achieving cost effective purchases of raw materials and reduction in delivery time.
Ÿ Assessment of the performance of the vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for, rejections, quality improvement rate, timely delivery, credit terms
Ÿ Motivating and educating vendors for timely deliveries and quality checks as well as ensuring timely payments.
Ÿ Efficiently managing the inventory levels, for ensuring ready availability of material to meet production and dispatch targets
