Working in the Engineering / Construction department working on all the electrical construction, commissioning and energizing of all electrical equipment on behalf of BP on an EPC contract for a new gas plant at Tiguentourine plant located at In Amenas in the south of Algeria.
I have the authority level (A3) which allow me to work on 11 KV GE gas turbine generator to synchronisation the three machines to the common busbar and carry out HV switching and isolation.
In this position, I am in charge of a number of technicians who carry out maintenance on static and rotating equipments.
Responsible for the training of all maintenance technicians and the carrying out of competencies assessment for certification regarding switching and isolations at levels A1, A2 and A3
I am familiar with S&I Motor Manager (MM5) motors control and protection and (MICOM) circuit breaker control and protection.
I am familiar with GUTOR UPS systems.
I participated a maintenance workshop with XPD8 in London and In Amenas for familiarization with the company maintenance strategies.
As performing authority, I am responsible for the application of all electrical permit to work and isolation certificates.
