Plant inspector

Job Duties:
• Assist in carrying out inspection to the degree with regard for safe working practice and to report to the corrosion monitoring program.
• Obtain data for the corrosion monitoring program.
• Provide assurance that repairs or modifications are completed to given specifications.
• Assist company inspection engineers in implementation of inspection policy covering both onshore and offshore plant and equipment.
• Perform on-site NDT examinations in accord with company requirements.
• Instruct other inspection personnel in NDT techniques and applications.
• To define criteria for inspection procedure to meet company requirements.
• Identify engineering defects and initiate corrective actions.
• Liaise with company discipline engineers for their input into inspection and QC records.
• Initiate and maintain records for NDT based corrosion monitoring.
• Applying all inspection tests for all static equipments such as (Crude oil tanks, Heat Exchangers, Boilers, Pressure Vessels during service and in shut down periods.
• Performing all inspection tests needing for the plant piping system

• Crude Oil Tank inspection and floor replacement.
• Desolater Heaters inspection and repairing.
• Desolater Vessel inspection and Repairing.
• Oil Flow Tank inspection and floor replacement.
• Diesel Tank inspection and repairing.
• Main transmission lines intelligent pigging.
