Advising on and developing Health, Safety and Environmental management systems.

I am a Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality professional with a BSc in Electrical Engineering. I have vast experience in engineering within the Mining, electric furnaces, Oil and Gas Industry and as a government inspector for safety on mines offshore and refinery. I am also qualified in mining safety law, business management and reliability engineering systems analysis risk identification and HSE systems.
For the past 10 years, I have held senior positions within the Oil and Gas Industry, advising on HSE for various major projects, initiating and installing HSE systems, and inspection and auditing of operational activities, onshore and offshore.
I have recently prepared the HSE portion of various contracts for the total seismic survey activity in Sudan. This was followed up by a planning and auditing and quality controlling the aviation and seismic survey contractors in the northern Sudan desert.

Government Committee: Member of Committee for compiling new offshore regulations under Mine Health and Safety Act in South Africa.
Construction: At the mines: Sinter Plant, Town infrastructure (Water, sewerage, houses), underground crusher & conveyor system.
Project Support (SHEQ):Subsea oilfield & FPSO, Subsea pipeline, seismic survey and various small ones (building construction, drilling, offshore and onshore).
HSE Projects: Currently driving a project for implementation of OHSAS18001 and total operational risk management.
Lecturing / training: Twice a year at a government training institute present a course on Offshore Health and Safety with specific emphasis on safety case.
Safety induction for new workers, Emergency response for onshore support to offshore emergencies.
