Pos: Piping Design Engineer with these responsibilities :
1.Assignment in Detailed Engineering Office, taking all Piping & Pipeline deliverables related with EPIC Projects.
2.Preparation of Piping Layouts, General arrangements, Route Plans, Isometrics, Nozzle Orientations, BOM's .
3.Review and preparation of Material Piping Classes. Wall thickness calculations as per B31.3, B31.8. Input data in CAESARII for Stress analysiscalculations.
4. Review of Vendor documentation, and verification updating of various downstream deliverables.
5.Estimation Dept Support.
6.Any other assignments given from Technical Section
Feb-2006-Oct 2007 JOPETROL/Jordan -Projects dep.-Design section.
Pos: Projects design engineer with these responsibilities :
1.Review of manufacturers / contractors design drawings and mechanical calculations to ensure that their design meets JPRC requirements.
2.Issuing mechanical design drawings for new equipment installation.(Using design criteria and restrictions according to ASME B31.3,API 610,NFPA 20,….etc).
3.Reserving materials needed for the projects from JPRC main stores and procurement of special materials not available in the inventory of the main stores.
4.Following up issued drawings during construction in cooperation with the related construction and user departments.
5.Heat exchangers and pressure vessels design check as per ASME section VIII Division I and TEMA 8 using PVELITE program and MT-EXCHANGER.
6. Pipe stress analysis for the new process pipelines using CAEPIPE and CAESAR II programs (CAEPIPE and CAESAR II are professional pipe stress analysis programs).
7. Hydraulic analysis of fire fighting network using PIPENET Transient module.
8.Studying and analyzing some refinery problems and issuing recommended solutions using available resources. (example: Lube oil pumps and piping system problem)
