Career Objective
To advance in the field of Oil & Gas Manufacturing
Professional Experience
Work Description:
*2001-2004 - Responsible for the D2 line manufacturing. This is the assembling of small control valves together with testing, calibration, inspection and packing.
*2004-2006 - Working as an assembler of control valves which consist of the following:
Actuator Assembly
Body Assembly
Yoke Mounting
Pilot Mounting
Calibration
*2006-current Due to the above experience I was selected to become a trainer to train new employees. When the need arises I train other employees of Emerson group especially from the South East Asia region on how to assemble and calibrate valves.
Since training is part of quality I have also been trained in final QA inspection whereby I inspect the valves that has been completed by assembly based on certain criterias. By doing the inspection I am able to improve my training since I see the common defects that are created by assembly.
My daily job function is to ensure that final QA inspects all valves that have been assembled by assembly. When the need arises I also arrange for overtime to ensure that the valves are cleared promptly. If there are any defects detected, final QA will send out a report to me and my superior and I would need to prepare the DCRS form. This has to be given to assembly and collected within two days. I represent final QA during the morning meeting by highlighting the quantity inspected and also the problems faced on the previous day.
I need to prepare a report on weekly basis on DCRS issued to assembly which is reviewed weekly on Mondays or Thursdays by the value stream manager. Monthly reports are submitted to my superior after our monthly financial closing.
