My Description :
Currently I work as an offshore field service technician who provide the service for the application of High Density Polyurethane foam (HDPUF) for pipeline field joint in-fill. The product is made up of two liquid chemical system i.e. Polyol and Isocyanade. The purpose of the HDPUF system is to fill up the area of the pipeline field joint so that the outer diameter of the pipeline at the field joint area is approximately the same as the other sections of the pipeline.
The HDPUF will help on the followings:
to provide protection to the pipeline at the field joint location, to provide a homogeneous outside diameter for the entire length of the pipeline to allow the pipe to move smoothly over the rollers and in some instances, to provide insulation to the pipeline at the field joint area. My duty is to make sure the machine run without breakdown and troubleshoot the machine and set up the machine.
Remarks:Good knowledge in riser & jacket set up ,commissioning and set-up.Able to lead a group of riggers to perform HSS(heat shrink sleeve) & HDPUF (foam) applications.

• July 2007 :Attend Basic Offshore Induction & Emergency Training
Including HUET & EBS (OPITO approved).

• Oct 2007 :Obtained Petronas Carigali Safety Passport.
