ľ Interpretation of construction drawings, scope of works, established standards and specifications applicable to the projects.
ľ Conduct line checking, orientation, punch listing and reinstatement for
Piping installation and preparing hydro testing packages.
ľ Mechanical clearance, checking of hydro and pneumatic tests of lines.
ľ Ensuring that all welding activities are carried out in accordance with approved procedures and standards.
ľ Inspecting fit up of joints for material surface, root gap, bevel angle as per established WPS.
ľ Field check for monitoring correct parameters like welding current, voltage, preheat, interpass temperatures are in limits of approved WPS.
ľ Qualification of welders, Procedure qualifications according to ASME Sec IX.
ľ Checking for the material classification, identification and correct consumables usage as per WPS.
ľ Preparation of daily fit up and welding visual inspection reports.
ľ Checking of the drawings provided by the client and its weld mapping.
ľ Monitoring the performance of each welder on the basis of radiographic reports.
ľ Coordinating with clients in their inspection activities.
ľ Coordinating with the external contractors for the NDT.
ľ Inspection of the Painting activities like sand blasting and visual inspection with DFT check of the painted spools, along with the required environmental conditions.
