Operation Manager

* Senior Operation Engineer is responsible for planning, directing and controlling all operational activities in oil pumping station/cross country oil pipeline.

* Presently working as Senior Engineer with Pak-Arab Refinery Limited since 1989 and is responsible for the purpose of planning, directing and controlling all operational activities in oil pumping station related to receiving and pumping of crude oil / petroleum products according to oil movement schedule.
* The incumbent is also responsible for insuring that the safety of personal, equipment including pipeline of the designated region and environment is maintained.
* Compile periodical reports about operational and other activities related to station and update to immediate supervisor.
* Conduct plant inspection to ensure that pumping operation is done according to the schedule and laid down safety policy; pumps and equipment are maintained in good condition.
* Design and development electrical and electronic circuits panel boards as per requirement of the job.
* Supervise the installation of electrical equipments, its testing, maintenance, modification and operation.
* Evaluate and rectify the problems caused due to electrical failures, breakdowns and short-circuits.
* Review & analyze plant modification need, manpower requirement, contract service requirement, contracts etc, prepare recommendation and forward to immediate supervisor for approval.
* Prepare annual operations budget for station, schedule of expenses and forward to immediate superior for review and compilation of Station and Terminals budget.
* Ensure compliance of HSEQ requirements by employees, outsiders, contractors. Arrange HSEQ meeting and suggest improvement plans to eliminate / reduce risks.
* Assess new hazards and propose objectives and plans to eliminate / reduce the risk.

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering
