legal expert/manager

I would like to utilize my practice and experiences in a job in any field of the energy sector in the UAE. Since my scope of activity is wider than legal profile, I am interested in management of linking issues as well.

I have gained a 3-year practise in energy sector as an in-house legal expert in Hungary. Hungary is member of the European Union applying European legislation principals in the energy industry as well. I am familiar with the legally relevant processes in the electricity industry that makes easier to absolve the necessary activities to be done in case of energy related projects.
I have been working at Dunamenti Power Plant Closed Ltd and its subsidiary commercial company Electrabel Hungary Co. Ltd as legal expert since 2005. Dunamenti is the biggest gas fired power plant in Hungary generating electricity and providing stream to MOL (National Oil Company in Hungary) Refinery. Since the electricity and energy sector is rather special field I had to gain special knowledge of law and needed to understand many technical details about the operation (and maintenance) of the different type of technologies (CHP, CCGT) of our power plant. I provide a support work to the technical and sales experts.
I draft and advise contracts (fuel purchasing, grid connection, balance circle, electricity sales, industrial steam and water sales). I supervise the Sales Department.I corresponde with Authorities and looking after the different essential operation and generation permits.I manage the CO2 Emission Trade System in the plant.I am responsible for the fulfilment of the special fire service provisions of law.I advise in company law issues.
Currently the power plant has 2 projects. Dismantling (eliminating one old block) and a new development G3 block (CCGT technology). I participate in both project teams.
The new development G3 is a 4-year project. Within the project team I have to control, advise and supervise the procurement process, contracts and draft the applications for project permits for the authorities.
Within an operating power plant there are plenty of special rules and provisions and problems that need to be solve usually urgently. Generating electricity requires to comply with safety rules, legal framework and commercial obligations.
Dunamenti Power Plant belongs to the Suez-Electrabel (SUEZ-GDF) group.
