Job Description
• Design and Development of Vertical Pipe Handling Equipment for Modular Rig.
• Lead a team of 6 Research Engineers to achieve the department goal.
• Design of Belt Conveyor, Chute, Cam lifter, Setback & Finger Board for Modular Rig.
• Design trolley for N-class Skidding project, Concept study for LNG container offloading.
• Set the SMART goals and give guidance to the Engineers to achieve it.
• Update the project status to the Program Manager by time to time.
• Learn and Implement the Meridian {Engineering Data Management software (EDM)} system in our department and train Engineers to start using it.
• Continuous interactions with team members to solve their technical difficulties and monitor the progress. And conduct weekly team meetings to ensure that the projects are on track.
• Estimate the project cost and plan for cost effective delivery to the customers.
• Contact, Define and finalize the vendors as per the cost, quality, and timeline.
• Arrange vendors to come down to have an interaction with the Engineers.
• Support Program Manager to prepare the tender documents.
