reconciliation of accounts:
banks: reconciliation of centralised bank book before 10th of every month and co-ordinate with branches to solve reconciling entries. this will facilitate to correct accounting and avoid disputes with customers over unidentified deposits in bank.

supplier accounts: monthly reconciliation of supplier’s accounts - helps to solve disputes and promotes easy audit.

accounts receivable:
ensuring signed/stamped copy of the delivery invoices are attached to accounts invoices for filing.

checking of sales returns with grn note, followup with sales team for getting proper agreements of display rentals and other promotional activities.

authorisation of customer credit notes

circulation of ageing reports to sales team – summarised and detailed route wise reports for retail/wholesale/super market sectors. monthly/fortnightly reports help to improve collection and to reduce over credit period amounts.

review of major customer statements and follow up with sales team to get acknowledgement from customers. this practice helps to avoid disputes and easy audits in key accounts area.

conducting weekly meeting with sales team to speed up collection.


financial transactions:
dealing with banks for loans and purchasing of foreign currencies at most favourable rates. closely monitoring of loan interests and other financial charges debited by bank. timely payment & rollover of loans by analysing cash flow.

prepration of daily / monthly cash flow statements by checking daily bank statements.

management reports:
monthly submission of analysed cost center wise income statement to each department for review. this helps to take necessary action from each department to control their unwanted expenses.compared to budget

supervision of assistants & administration
checking and verification of works done by assistants – accounts payable vouchers, petty cash vouchers, journal vouchers, invoices etc. are accounted in proper accounts and with supportings as per company policies.

review of trial balance, income statements & gl: accounts to make sure that all expenses and accounted in each month with proper accruals and amortizing prepaid expenses.
