Data Engineer
As an international mud logger/geologist, I have worked with LNG Angola, Total and ChevronTexaco in various countries like Angola, Cameroon and Gabon, which were offshore locations like jack ups, tender rigs, semi submersible rigs, drill ships and plat form. I was also part of the BBLT drilling platform team (offshore of Cabinda, Angola for 2 years). During this over 4 years of offshore activities I worked on over 15 wells which are either development or exploration wells. Listed are few of the- BN6P2,BN6P2_ST1 & ST2, BL6I3, BN6I1, BN6P7, BL6I3, BL6I1_ST1 & ST2, BL6I2, BL6I2_ST1 & ST2, BL6P4, KK-B13, KK-B16, BZ-B01 lat1 & lat 2, BZ-B04 lat1, BZ-B05 lat1 & lat 2 BZ-B01 and few others. Whilst in these regions my job duties include:

• Analysis of Sample.
• As a team leader I take responsibilities or my other team members on location and communicated directly with the client both on location and base.
• Real Time Monitoring of drilling, Coring, Completion, Casing, Work over
Operations with standard software.
• Working with Well Site Geologist to provide all geological information about the well.
• Preparation and interpretation lithological, sonic logs and Final Well Reports for the Client Company.
• Monitoring of formation gas while drilling and give geology details of the gas, also use the gas detail to determine when an oil reservoir is reach.
• Calibrate all sensors to client standard.
• Advice drilling crew and mud engineer when to increase or decrease mud weight.
• Give client daily geological report of operation on the well site.
• Monitor drilling parameters to ensure that drill activity is done without any lose of drilling fluid or incident of kick.
• Make a D’ exponential log to give a good picture of the over pressure zones in the well so as to make client company select an appropriate casing type.
• Give drilling crew and client representative a graphical representation of the swab and surge before each trip operation.
• Maintain the Geoservices database, so as to have an accurate and well-updated database.
• As a unit supervisor /team leader I make sure all the equipment and sensor are working in good condition.
