API Plant Inspector / Inspection Engineer

My objective is to obtain a challenging position as Plant Inspection Engineer / Plant Inspector.

• Fully conversant with various codes/standards like ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI, AWS, NACE, BS & various client specifications like BP, Shell, GUPCO, ADCO, GASCO, etc. In the field of Design, Fabrication, Welding, Metallurgy, QA/QC, NDT, Inspection & Testing.
• Experience in supervision and coordination of all on-stream and shutdown inspection/NDT activities of plant equipments, piping, pipelines & tanks.
• Familiar with RBI analysis and developing the inspection plans/frequencies for plant equipments, piping, pipelines & tanks.
• Experience in welding/mechanical repair of pressure vessels, piping, pipelines & tanks
• Familiar with common welding process like SMAW, GTAW, FCAW & SAW.
• Familiar with range of material including carbon steel, alloy steel & stainless steel.
• Experience in QA/QC activities which includes preparation of welding procedures, qualification of welding procedures and welders’ performance, welding consumable quality control, welding inspection, NDT, PWHT, hardness test, hydrostatic & pneumatic test, coordination with client inspectors etc.
• Experience in all NDT techniques (VT, RT, UT, PT, MT) & different types of equipments used for NDT. And preparation/reviewing of reports.
• Evaluation of NDT results such as radiographic film interpretation and UT results evaluation.
• Fully conversant with Isometric, P&ID’s and general arrangement drawings, as built preparation & modification as per site requirements.
• Experience in inspection & supervision of fabrication, welding, pressure testing, blasting, painting & installation of new fabricated piping spools.
• Familiar with health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies of various companies like BP, Shell, GUPCO, ADCO, GASCO and ADMA-OPCO.
• Good computer knowledge like Windows, MS-Office, MAXIMO, AUTOCAD.
