Piping Material Specification Engineer. Familiarity with ASME /ANSI Standards, NACE, Aramco Standars and similar standards related to piping materials in the petrochemical industry. Preparation of specifications of pipe materials, computing pipe wall thickness, valves specifications, development of technical and purchasing specification for the procurement of piping components, requisitions, performing of technical bid evaluations and vendor drawing reviews of piping components and valves. Preparation of specifications for special piping items for specific applications. Liaison with procurement groups to ensure correct quantities of pipeline materials, valves and special piping items are purchased and supplied to project programme. Revision of piping isometrics. Material and Warehousing responsabilities. Monitor material quantities and storage locations. Coordinate material inventories and material issue documents. Expedite the receipt of critical delinquent orders and monitor material deliveries in accordance with construction schedules. Assist the Construction Planner and Shop Fabrication Manager in the preparation of work schedules and project reporting requirements. Field Information surveying. Elaboration of Project support documentation: scope of work, design criteria, material lists, construction documentation, etc. Line list and tie-ins. Elaboration of all the needed documentation for submitting mechanical proposals (man-hours, scope, and reimbursable expenses).
