I am a graduate in B.Sc(Nautical Science) from T.S. Rajendra under the aegis of Bombay University in India.
The course content covers widely and deeply all the aspects of shipping industry such as Operational, Technical, Commercial and Legal.
Presently I am working as Health, Safety, Quality and Environment manager, also helping in the operations of Oil tanker, holding designation of DPA and CSO.
I had been sailing on board Chemical (Parcel tankers), Oil (Crude and Petroleum) and Gas tankers (Fully Refrigerated) in senior ranks since last 11 years.
I have been involved in the marine training and with IT support team. I have contributed my Marine expertise and knowledge in the development of Training content and IT Solutions.
I have been involved in the development and testing of marine simulators for Liquid/Gas processes, Bridge team management tools, Communication/Logistic support tools across the fleet and shore Offices all over the world.
I have gained exposure in the various aspects of the operations of a Shipping company during my assignment at OMI headquarters in Connecticut, USA.
I have attended a Microsoft Certified Software Engineer course on Windows 2000 and a Certificate course in Web site design and management.
I have gained varied experience in Marine operations during last 19 Years in various capacities on board merchant vessel and ashore.
