Professional Experience
• Review RFC (Released For Construction) drawings, construction plans and specifications to ensure complete familiarity with their function and the totality of the construction work.
• Report progress, quality issues and impact on schedule to Construction Manager
• Assure that the QC will be implemented according the approved QA plan.
• Monitor the HSSE / quality / progress of the construction work on a daily basis (hands on)
• Assure the complete and correct implementation of the approved mechanical scope according the approved schedule.
• Co-ordinate engineering design work to ensure design intent is achieved.
• Working knowledge and understanding of HSE responsibilities;
• Ability to interprete P&ID, isometric/structural drawings and specifications in order to supervise/monitor, fabrications, hook-up and installation activities, isolation activities, perform management of change procedures (technical site queries),changeover from instrument gas to air prior to start of hot-work activities, prepare as-built drawings.
• Working Knowledge and application of offshore pipeline codes with particular emphasis on API 1104, ASME B31.3, CTO-35-P-01 (Coating applications), and Global Practices.
• Working Knowledge of typical pipeline welding processes with particular emphasis on SMAW and TIG.
• Visual Inspection of pre-welding, welding, and post-welding activities in accordance with approved Weld Procedure Specifications.
• Working Knowledge related to pipeline pre-commissioning operations with emphasis on hydrotesting, flushing, pigging, isolation, purging,
• Interpretation of critical path scheduling/planning schedules, method statements, project execution plans/procedures, preparation of work close out packages and construction daily progress reports (DPR).
• Ability to document work progress and maintain accurate and meticulous records.
• Good organizational and communication skills, and a team player.

Educational Qualification
Metallurgy/Materials Engineering (BSc.), University of Lagos (UNILAG), Nigeria
AWS Certified Welding Inspector; ASNT Level II, Radiography Interpretation.
