Responsibility:
• Understand the required specifications and references and codes
referenced therein.
• Review Company Procedures and Specifications.
• Establishes and maintains project Quality Plans and Inspection and Test
Plans.
• Monitor quality related activities as required.
• Liaise with clients inspection group and inform same when work is ready for
Inspection including hold points specified in ITP.
• Be the interface with Company and with third parties on quality matters.
• Initiate corrective actions as required to maintain/correct quality deficiencies.
• Coordinate with Construction team and other departments the

AIOC, Sangachal Terminal Expansion Programme (STEP) operated by BP
QA/QC Engineer
Responsibility:

• Review contractors’ Quality Plans, procedures, Inspection and Test Plans,
reports, forms etc.
• Surveillance of the work performed by the contractor’s with regards to
surface preparation, coating, insulation passive fire protection and welding.
• Carry out inspection of Wrapping underground pipes and Pipeline Field Joints
coating.
• Monitor the close-out process of related Site Instruction on site.
• Coordinate with Construction team and other departments the
implementation of QC program for the Project.
• Initiate in raising Non-conformance reports, in case any non-conformity or
deviation arises analyze causes of non-conformities, identify trends and
coordinate implementation of the relevant corrective/preventive actions.
• Ensure that contractor abides by the safety standards of BP/AIOC HSE
Policy.
• Performed 10 ASA and 10 STOP cards per month.
