Experience Details:

Reliance Industries Limited, Petroleum Business (E&P)
1) Be the focal point all issues related to Health, Safety & Environment aspects including Fire & Security aspects for the project;
2) Implement HSE Systems and procedures during the course of the project; like construction, commissioning and operational stage at work areas like onshore terminal and offshore operations;
3) Carry out Risk Assessment for project and production operations as needed; Assist in preparation and review of SIMOPS;
4) Ensure HAZID / HAZOP studies are completed for the project and ensure implementation at the facilities;
5) Lead Site HSE Committee meetings, ensure pre-job safety meetings for critical operations at onshore & offshore locations;
6) Train project & plant personnel on safe work practices; including PTW, Emergency Response Plans, etc;
7) Implement and ensure compliance to Permit to Work systems (Hot Work, Confined space entry, General work permit etc);
8) Conduct emergency exercises on monthly basis and identify and rectify shortfalls observed; update ERP as needed;
9) Conduct planned inspections and HSE audits of the construction & plant facilities and systems; ensure preparedness of fire-fighting equipment and emergency systems [onsite / offsite];
10) Induction & HSE Briefing to visitors and new recruits. Organise monthly safety meetings;
11) Plan environmental monitoring aspects and compliance reports for submission to TNPCB or any other statutory agencies;
12) Ensure compliance to Mines Act and Oil Mines Regulations and prepare necessary reports for DGMS (Directorate General of Mines Safety);
13) Prepare periodic HSE reports and maintain and follow-up on Corrective Action Registers for early close-out;
14) Liaise with Statutory Officials during site visits, queries, etc
15) Assist in any other activity concerned with HSSE & Fire aspects as required from time to time;
