Assist’s in preparing the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS), Procedure Qualification Record (PQR), welder certificate, welder list, Inspection & Test Plant (ITP). Also monitor and conduct Welding Procedure Qualification Test (WPQT) and Welder Qualification Test (WQT)
Mainly responsible carry out day to day inspection and test requirement as per the inspection and test plant, code, standard and client spec. Managing the coordination for inspection and testing with Production section, Third Party, Authorize Inspector and the Client.
The scope is responsibility covered all aspect in inspection and testing for pressure vessel, piping and structural from material receiving, sending material to mechanical testing, to verify material, carrying out fit-up inspection, random inspection during welding, dimensional inspection before and after welding, inform to dimensional controller (surveyor) to check verticality, straightness, squareness and elevation before welding and after welding, final visual inspection, confirm the method of NDT ( UT, RT, DPT, MPI & TOFD ) requirement and liaise closely with NDT team to avoid any delays of schedule cause of NDT, to monitor and performing hardness test, liaise with PWHT team and ensure all comply with the approved procedure (if required), prepare the hydro test package prior hydro test, carrying out line check and raise punch list before hydro test, witness flushing before and after hydro test, witness pressure testing such as hydrostatic test, static test and leak test, air blowing after hydro test, carrying out line check again after reinstatement, close all punch list and also to complete all Inspection Test Reports. Also monitor the quality and safety of work undertaken by sub-contractor and production department involving major and minor fabrication.
The responsibility also covers the preparation of the Manufacture Data Book from the beginning till completely of the project.
