Professional Experience
i have worked in the oil & gas industry for 10years both offshore and overseas holding mainly supervisory positions predominately maintenance orientated and specializing in Rotating Equipment.
however, over the past year I have had my role extended to include operational duties to increase my experience of all areas involved with topsides & subsea activities and also to develop a more integrated working structure on how operations and maintenance are carried out onboard the platform. i work within a team of multi-skilled technicians operating and maintaining a large production and processing plant, which includes three stage gas compression trains; amine system; ngl recovery and molecular sieve gas dehydration. also, three-phase oil separation and wastewater disposal, duel fuel turbine generators, water injection system.
having deputized as both project team leader & mechanical supervisor on several occasions i have an excellent understanding of how maintenance teams and activities should be handled, be it routines, breakdowns, shutdown coordination or commissioning encompassing all aspects such as pm, rcm, cbm, planning, materials, vendors, fat, cmms etc.
i am fully conversant with all forms of process engineering documentation and am computer literate and proficient in maximo as well as microsoft office packages.
during my time with turner diesel & finning caterpillar, i was the onshore focal point to many main north sea operators such as bp & talisman where my duties included presenting my findings of rca where customers had requested an oem presence. i was also responsible for coordinating all aspects of maintenance covering their internal combustion engines and mobilizing all engineers, materials, tooling etc to carryout tasks.
i am currently seeking a position that offers challenge and responsibility and would allow me to utilize my supervisory and engineering skills combined. i believe i have an excellent work ethic and am able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
