Position: MWD Field Operator
I was responsible for all MWD activities at the well-site including all related MWD equipment and procedures and effective troubleshooting and failure analysis.
Ensuring all required equipment is loaded on the MWD truck and arrives at the well-site.
Communicating with the Directional Driller/Drilling Foreman to ensure all MWD requirements at the rig site are met.
Setting up all required MWD hardware at the well-site including checking/testing all MWD tools
Ensuring and verifying that all drill collars and subs required for operating the MWD system are present at the well-site.
Providing interpretation of MWD data to the client and/or directional drilling supervisor
Completing and submitting all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensuring that both truck and MWD system are serviced immediately upon completion of the job.
Ensuring all upgrades and modifications are completed to the MWD system hardware and software.
Maintaining up to date knowledge base on all new technology.
Ensuring safety policy and practices are consistently followed.

Diploma thesis: Increasing the recovery factor for a reservoir based on Carbunesti structure, Prahova, Romania. The purpose of the Diploma thesis was the Reservoir Management. In this respect the reservoir was considered as new, so three scenarios were considered: Elastic regime, Dissolved gas regime (commune for all their scenarios) and: Alternate Lines Waterflooding, Five Spot Patterns Waterflooding and Polymer (viscose water) Injection (alternates lines injection). All scenarios were economically justified, so the best case was selected
