WORK EXPERIENCE:

ILLOVO-Ubombo Sugar Ltd:

PROCESS MAINTENANCE ENGINEER- Confirmed in the Process Maintenance Engineer
position on the 16th April 2008, after managing a very successful shut down and start up of the
back end of the factory. Responsible for maintenance at the back end of the factory. Raw house,
refinery and the boiler making workshop.
ACTING BACK END ENGINEER- responsible for Raw house and refinery. Maintenance of
pumps, conveyor belts, crystillersers, evaporators, screw conveyors, vacuum pumps,overhead mobile cranes,bucket elevators and centrifugals-14 August 2007 to 16 April 2008.
- Project leader for installation of AF BMA centrifugal-14 August 2007 to 15 April 2008.
-Project leader for a new mixed juice tank and pumps for the factory- May 2007 to 15 April 2008.
-Successfully managed biomass project-February 2007 to April 2007.

Raw House Foreman, Refinery Foreman and BoilerMaking Workshop Foreman.
Responsible for the budgets of the three sections, shut down budget and season budget.
Engineer In Training -MECHANICAL, February 2006 to 14th August 2007.
-Involved in all Engineering matters in the Factory- Equipment maintenance and carrying out of
projects, while working towards GCC factories and registering as Pr Eng with the Engineering
Council of South Africa( ECSA ).
-Acted as Assistant Production Manager responsible for optimizing production in one
of the three shifts-13 June 2007 to 13 August 2007.
-Acted as Mechanical workshop foreman responsible for fitters and turners and for scheduling
Machining jobs.
-Acting foreman for the process house( Back End)

-Coordinating all activities in the Swaziland renewable energy sub-sector.
-Developing and promoting renewable energy in Swaziland.
-Raising awareness of renewable energy in government and industry.
-Reasearching and designing appropriate renewable energy demonstration systems.
-Analysing technical proposals and providing technical input in the develpoment of renewable energy technology.
