I am a geologist supervisor in charge of geological survey during well drilling (Reservoir identification, evaluation of formations from cuttings and logging, coring and core description).
For the last three years my professional experience has been in supervising more than sixty oil producer¡¦s wells of Hassi Messaoud field, a field that have 25 zones, all of them with distinctive reservoir characteristics and also exploration wells on the periphery of Hassi Messaoud (Hassi Guettar).
The complexity and heterogeneity of the reservoir which presents many geological anomalies requires a special attention and care to set the casing point. To achieve such target I have to have an eye of detail very sharp every time I am on rig site.

My main tasks include:
„X Defining future well data acquisition program from geological evaluation.
„X Draw-up the geological end of well report.
„X Reservoir identification based on logging data and interpreting geological data for geosteering purposes.
„X Formation identification while drilling, through cuttings and logging observation (Mud logging).
„X Assure a good data communication at the well site and connect the driller, the deviator and the supervisor to it.
„X Supervising well data acquisition & other contractors performance i.e. mud logging, MWD-LWD and coring contractors ¡V
„X Assure complete and pertinent reporting with daily briefing.
„X Sampling and description with in-situ tests; calcimetry, dolomitization¡K.
„X Casing point selection.
„X Survey of Horizontal drilling, side track and re-entries (MWD, LWD).
„X Coiled tubing and under-balanced drilling geological supervision.
„X Identification of drains on real time (RT) with LWD and MWD.
