Achieved an over-all benefit amounting to US$1,800,000 by proposing and implementing plant modification to enable thermal cracker (in crude distilling service) to be run in-line and heat integrated with a high vacuum unit.
Increased on stream performance of the furfural extraction unit by more than 60% by conducting and applying a study on fouling of critical heat exchangers at the furfural extraction unit.
