Seeking a responsible position in Instrumentation & Control systems engineering design/process automation engineering, where my 12 years of design experience in oil & gas industry will be used for improving related organizational productivity.

Having 12 years of work experience in instrumentation design on both offshore and onshore upstream oil processing industry. Currently working with a mult-national engineering consultant as Senior Instrumentation Engineer in the middle-east.

Worked on various projects for upgrading instrumentation, control and safety systems of various plants of the Saudi Aramco, Qatar Petroleum (QP) and Occidental Petroleum Ltd (OXY). Well familiar with field instrumentation (including sizing/selection), control systems, SCADA and safety systems used in the oil & gas industry; including the state of the art smart digital instrumentation as well as the old pneumatic or hydraulic systems. Excellent application knowledge of engineering standards like ISA, IEC, ISO, PIP, Saudi Aramco, API, etc, which are applicable to instrumentation engineering.

Able and confident to manage the core areas of design work and to co-ordinate with other members of the design team.

Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation and Electronics Engineering (1992-1996), from Bangalore University, Karnataka State, India. Passed with first class.Having knowledge and experience with DCS, ESD (SIS), SCADA, PLCs, turbine-compressor control systems, field bus based control systems. Experienced in developing the P&Ids, logic diagrams, control schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, instrument specification sheets, calculation sheets, instrument installation schedules, material take-off lists and direct charge purchase requisition documents. Upgrade of control systems that includes analysis of the existing systems, knowledge of the new system, preparation of cutover plans and sketches. Conceptual design and cost estimate for detail engineering and construction. Familiar with relevant ISA, ANSI, API, NFPA, UL, NEC, IEC, Process Industry practices (PIP) and Saudi Aramco engineering standards.

2. Helicopter underwater escape training, Sea survival training & H2S at Gulf venture training center, Doha, Qatar.
