GATE Terminal that is to be implemented on the MAASVLAKTE Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Three development phases are scheduled with the following yearly send-out capacities.

• Initial Phase: 98 000 GWh (about 8 BCMA) with a swing of 20%
• Intermediate Phase: 150% of the Initial Phase with a swing of 20%.
• Ultimate Phase: 200% of the Initial Phase with a swing of 20%.
LNG from the LNGC is pumped into the LNG storage tank(s) by means of the ship unloading pumps at the design flow rate of 12 500 m³/h. LNG discharged from the ship is fed to the LNG storage tank(s) through two parallel lines, the one is the main unloading line and the other is the re-circulation line which is normally used to keep in cold conditions the unloading piping system when no LNGC is being unloaded.


Two LNG tanks of 180 000 m³ working volume each one are provided for the Initial Phase.

The tanks are connected to:

• One common BOG header which is connected onto the BOG compressors.
• The vapors return line to the LNGC.
• The flare system
