Working as a sub-contractor for various companies over the last 30 years in Southern Africa.

MY SKILLS AND ABILITIES
I operate lathes, milling machines, saws, drill presses, surface grinders, shaper, disc sander, grinder, portable buffers and comparable shop equipment. I operate all machinists’ hand tools, including micrometers, verniers, surface gauges, feeler gauges, radius gauges, etc.

Set up and operate EDM, Mill, CNC, lathe, drill press, saw, grinder, etc.

I am capable to plan, layout, fabricate, repair and assemble a variety of jigs, tools and dies of different sizes and shapes from blueprints, sketches, models, etc for use by welders or in machines in production departments.

EMPLOYMENT

After completing military service in Israel, I worked on various short and long-term contracts in Zimbabwe and South Africa as a Mechanical Fitter in the sector of industrial manufacturing and maintenance.

TECHNICAL COLLEGE
Marine Tool Technology -
I completed the official Tool and Die apprenticeship program in Haifa, Israel.

POINTS OF INTEREST
1986 – 1991 I built a 41’ steel yacht which I have sailed from the East coast to the West coast of Southern Africa.

2001 – 2005 I crossed the Atlantic Ocean from South Africa to South America together with my family on a 42’ catamaran
