Professional Experience
I worked as electrical engineer (construction) in a subcontractor for the TDS-2000 and TDS-2500 for SBM Atlanta (3 semi-submersible drilling rigs; LONE STAR, NORBE VI, and DELBA III
Detailed Responsibilities:
1.Site supervision of all electrical works and all site activities
2.Issuing daily and weekly progress reports
3.Preparing the asbuilt drawings, controlling project schedule
4.Participating in client/contractor meetings and resolving client/engineering and management project issues
5.Coordinate with engineering and procurement to review the scope of the job in terms of deliverables to be submitted to the client, finalize schedules to be met, resources required as per contractual terms, and support in terms of required co ordination with required as per contractual terms, and support in terms of required co ordination with the respective teams to ensure execution as per defined parameters
6.Identify areas of concern with respect to progress of assigned projects and recommend corrective action wherever required
7.Attendance and representing the company in the daily construction meeting with the main contractor (Gulf Pipping Co.) and the client (SBM offshore)
8.Co-operation with Company different departments to work as a team to push forward the project preparation up to the end of the project
9.Approve the invoices and release them to the accounts department
10.Prepare +ve/-ve project variations which are related to the electrical work
