Description of Duties:
1. Responsible for the implementation of all incident prevention standards and safe work practices at the project site.
2. Ensures that each employee has received initial HSE orientation BEFORE starting work on the project site.
3. Explains applicable safe practices, rules, regulations, and procedures to all employees under direct supervision and ensures that each employee understand these rules, regulations, and procedures.
4. Constantly enforces HSE rules, regulations, and procedures
5. Maintains zero tolerance on unsafe acts.
6. Supervises instructions and training of all employees.
7. Monitors employee work performance to ensure the use of safe work practices.
8. Analyzes work practices in details for the purpose of issuing safe task assignments (JSA/JHA’s) for the establishment of safe work guidelines.
9. Participates in the preparation of departmental or project HSE practices.
10. Responsible for the use and maintenance of personal protective devices, equipment, and safeguard.
