FIXED ASSETS MANAGEMENT (Oracle financial release 11i)
Responsible for execution of the day to day operations associated with the Fixed Asset.
Working independently at plant and business unit locations to review capital projects in Oracle
Developing and maintaining working relationships with plant and business unit controllers at remote locations.
Record fixed asset transactions, processing fixed asset transfers and disposals in oracle.
Review supporting documentation to ensure assets are being capitalized or expensed in accordance with Company policies
Process depreciation expense and depreciation projections in accordance with the department
Coordinate timely month-end close of fixed assets system in accordance with the Accounting month-end close schedule.
Coordinate periodic fixed asset inventories in accordance with company policy.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual fixed assets reporting, including general ledger reconciliations, additions & disposal details and depreciation expense.
Assist with tax and audit requests and other ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from our business units.
Identify opportunities for process improvements or automation.
Preparation of Balance Sheet presentation and notes
Supervision of Assets Tagging
Coordination with Internal & External Auditors

INVENTORY
Inventory Valuation of Raw material using weighted average method
Valuation of work in process using equivalent unit methods.
Valuation of Finished Goods using Lower of Cost or Market Value Method.
Information is gathered from process department regarding Vinyl Chloride Monomer (VCM) movement and ending quantities.
Cost of Raw material is gathered from GL and weighted average cost is applied to VCM consumption & other raw material
Fixed Cost related to manufacturing is also applied to inventory cost
Variable & Fixed cost are applied to WIP equivalent units and Finished Goods ending quantity.

SALES TAX
Preparation of monthly Sales Tax Return with summary statements and e-filing on FBR website. Co-ordinate for Sales Tax audit with department.

ACCOUNT PAYABLE MANAGEMENT
Supervision of smooth and timely payment to vendors by following procures to pay cycle of Oracle Financial.
