Mechanical engineer- Oil & Gas / Product Development / Project Coordination

To be a contributing member in a growth oriented industry where my skills can be utilised to their potential.

I am currently (Since NOV'07) working in Saudi Arabia for an organization which is a GES (General engineering services) co. for major Oil and Gas co. & petrochemical co. including Saudi ARAMCO & SABIC. I am working in the Material standardization division for Saudi ARAMCO as a Standardization engineer cum Coordination Engineer.

Since being in the Coordination too, I am involved in dealing with all the vendors in Oil & Gas sector, getting all information: Drawings, data sheets, Spare parts list etc. for the SPDPs of ARAMCO. I have also worked in one of the Gas plants of ARAMCO for NGL & SRU.

I have nearly 4 years of experience. I was earlier handling product development, QA, Vendor development etc for 2 companies (1 in India and the other one in Dubai). This was for nearly 3 years.


I have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical (B.E.). Besides this I had done a short diploma course in Mechanical CAD covering modules in AutoCAD, CATIA V5 and Pro-e but I have working knowledge only in AutoCAD.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

1 B.E. (Mech) from Mumbai University (India) in 2002.
2 HSC (XII) from ISC Board (New Delhi, India) in 1997.
3 SSC(X) from I.C.S.E Board (New Delhi, India) in 1995.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Done a course in Mechanical CAD covering modules on Auto CAD, Pro-E and CATIA from ECIL (Electronic Corporation of India Ltd.), Pune (India) under technical guidance from CITD (Central Institute of Tool Design, Hyderabad). Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2000 – 2006 only.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Thorough knowledge of Windows’98 / XP, Internet, MS Office.

ERP: Working knowledge of Microsoft Navision and SAP R3 (Selective modules / granules)
