Head of Process Control of Brunei LNG, reporting to the Technical Manager. Responsible for 3 staff and functionality of process control and instrumented protection applications plant wide.
Initiation and execution of Advanced Process Control revival. Redesign applications, training staff and development of monitoring tools.
Development of control loop and transmitter monitoring. Result: averted LNG train shutdown due to transmitter failure.
Project manager of Plant Management Information System replacement (OSI-PI).
Functional redesign of liquefaction safeguarding in the plant rejuvenation process, replacing the main cryogenic exchangers (APCI to Linde) and other major equipment. Responsible for commissioning and start-up of control and safeguarding, including tuning of all control loops. Result: no shutdowns due to process control issues.
