Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance, Testing,Rennovation and procedures in leaf Processing and production plants of Tobacco Company and as a research assistant at Automatic Controls lab.
Leaf conditioning and manufacturing Plant:
 Repair, modification, alteration or control modifications of industrial burners and boiler - burner units, and related accessories.
 Routine maintenance activities/ testing, piping and process control upgrades of equipments as:
Driers, Air current, Cutting machinery, Leaf stringing machine, Stem flattening machinery, Stem defibrators, flavoring and blending equipments, Leaf threshing plant, Spraying and screening plant, Conditioning and humidifying plant Feeder and maker machines and packing machines etc.
• Adequate work identification, planning and scheduling tools and techniques.
• Promote equipment standardization to optimize spare parts and training requirements if possible.
• Establish and update maintenance documents management system Monitor tools and technology development in the market.
• Develop standard for major maintenance overhaul and outages.
• Develop maintenance procedures and planned job packages for maintenance planners.
• Monitor the life-cycle costing for equipment under the area of responsibility.
• Monitor maintenance productivity.
• Update equipments listing and file.
• Reporting to leaf manager and
Research Assistant:
• Handle and protect confidential and sensitive data with integrity.
• Manage data collection projects by meeting paper and electronic mailing deadlines, entering data, and handwritten notes; learn and use technology to do these tasks more efficiently.
• Prepare print documents, web pages, and other graphics using Word, Dreamweaver etc.
• Tests and experiments, Analyze data, Mathematical modeling results and discussions.
• Produce written, tabular and visual materials for research reports and presentations.

Having worked as a Maintenance Engineer in Khyber Tobacco Company Pakistan. I can use CMMS software for handling maintenance activities. I was responsible in the company for maintenance as well as innovating process plants to increase productivity and I have learned from my experience that motivated, productive workforce ultimately leads to profitability. I am familiar OEM recommended practices common industry standards of ASME, AWS. I have a history of quality work carried to timely completion.
I have also experince of working as a research assistant in Automatics and controller laboratory at Myongji University.
